Mike has over 35 years of experience and advises clients on all aspects of pensions and financial planning, particularly for individuals before and after retirement.

He is a Chartered Financial Planner, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and Technical Director of Perspective (North East) Ltd. He prides himself on his ability to explain complex issues and make things understandable, helping clients clarify and achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Mike is an expert on NHS Pension schemes and the Universities Superannuation scheme which are areas where very specific advice is required.

Mike is also an Associate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
